Getting back to the animals and birds we have seen. I think we have correctly identified most of what we’ve seen so far.

Please bare in mind we do not have binoculars and some birds we were not sure about so not listed here. As for animals I have not listed domestic ones.

So here goes;

Cattle Egret – roosting in a tree outside our room

Potter Wasp
Hoverflies – unknown
Painted Lady Butterfly – including a miniature one.
Red Admiral Butterfly
Euchloe charlonia – small yellow butterfly
Clouded Yellow Butterfly – Colias croceus
Geranium Bronze Butterfly – Cacyreus marshalli
A Giant Ant – Unknown
Red Mirid Bug

Animals
Atlantic Lizards
Hedgehogs – raiding the cat food left out for the feral cats.
Blind crab (munidopsis polymorpha)
Bat – seen by Maria but not identified
