Tasmania East Coast – Day Three and Four

The plan today was for everyone except John and I (because we were both so unwell and weak) to climb Mount Amos on the Hazards.
John and I did attempt a short walk if our own but, I was so out if it I went back to bed. I didn’t really surface when they came back and went out again.
I just about managed some dinner in the evening and some photos before crawling back to bed early.

Day four was not much better for me.
We drove to the Tasman Peninsula and to a place called Fortescue Bay which has something of Robinson Crusoe about it. I couldn’t walk, I felt sick and dizzy so lay dozing in the van while the others set off. I did at one point have a paddle in the sea though.
The Honeymoon couple were staying in Lufra Hotel that evening instead of camping so I decided I would do the same, I needed the sanitation and camping was not going to provide it
I asked for a budget room and explained I was with Taz Safari and the man on reception was sweet, he gave me an upgrade with the comment “Because I can!”
I didn’t make it down for dinner, I showered, threw up and went to bed!
